DESTINATION Floor joints laid on terraces and balconies, even tiled. USE Apply the product only on clean and dry grouts. Any cracks or cavities present in the joints with thickness greater than 1 mm must be resolved, by means of precise grouting, before the intervention. IMP1000BA / IMP5000BA must be applied pure, using a low-pressure vaporizer, a soft brush in natural fibers or a roller as required. Apply the product in at least two successive coats, wet on wet. For surfaces with high porosity, it is recommended to apply the product until the substrate is saturated. Apply evenly, avoiding surface stagnation of the product. On tiled and / or poorly absorbent surfaces, the excess of product must be removed with absorbent cloths and / or paper before drying (15-20 minutes). Wait at least 48 hours in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment.Carry out preliminary tests on the surface to be treated in order to avoid possible side effects. YIELD In the case of stone and cotto balconies, indicatively 7 - 10 m²/lt of product (complete treatment). In the case of porcelain and ceramic tiles or clinker, indicatively 15 - 20 m²/lt of product (complete treatment). STORAGE The product must be stored in its original, well-sealed containers, protected from light, in cool environments away from heat sources at temperatures between + 5 ° C and + 30 ° C. Under these conditions, the product is stable for 24 months WARNINGS - Product intended for professional use. - Operating temperatures +10°C / +30°C. - Thoroughly protect surfaces for which the product is not intended. - Do not apply in conditions of high humidity, of impending rain and in conditions of full sun.
Description
Water-based waterproofer. Product based on siloxane resins emulsified in an aqueous system, for the impregnating and hydrophobicizing, breathable treatment of the joints of terraces, balconies and external floors, even tiled. The product has a good degree of penetration and has an important and profound hydrophobic action. The elasticity of the siloxane resins allows the product to also hydrophobize the joints where small cracks are present (not exceeding one millimeter of thickness). The water-repellent action will prevent water (and the salts / pollutants dissolved in it) from penetrating inside the joints and prevent their destruction by frost during the winter. IMP1000BA / IMP5000BA is a water-based product, ecological and totally solvent-free, which does not change the chromatic aspect of the treated materials and has a high resistance to UV rays. It must have a reduction in water absorption > 80%. It must not alter the chromatic aspect of the substrate, it must have high UV resistance and must be easily applied by brush, spray or roller. It must be reversible and be accompanied by a safety data sheet with 16 sections required by the regulations in force.
